A night at Kitchen Porters

Last night saw nineteen of the cake ladies come together to experience one of Edinburgh’s excellent supper clubs – Kitchen Porters. Within a space of ten minutes, everyone had arrived and had a glass of fizz in their hand. There was non-stop chatter from the start, with lots of new faces welcomed into the group.

Here are some pictures from the night, but the photos do not do the quality of the food justice – it was amazing.

Jerusalem artichoke soup

Pan fried red mullet starter

Duo of Border lamb with wild mushrooms and garlic jus

Deconstructed carrot cake

We would just like to say a big thank you to Mark for inviting nineteen ladies into his home for the night.

Mark and Mary do have a blog, but the best way to get a place for one of their events is to get on their mailing list. Drop them a line on kitchenports (@) yahoo.co.uk  They are also on twitter @KitchenPorterUK
